Harsh Hingu's journey has taken him from Ahmedabad to Mumbai, and eventually to the United Kingdom, where he studied Fine Art at Arts University Bournemouth. Living and working across Bournemouth, Southampton, Poole, and London has broadened his perspective through diverse artistic communities, cultures, and experiences. Today, alongside his independent painting practice, he works as a freelance assistant artist to Stuart Semple while continuing to develop ambitious new bodies of work.

Whether it is a fleeting emotion, a fragment of memory, an encounter with nature, or a quiet moment of reflection, Harsh gathers experiences before he gathers images. Rather than recreating what he sees, he seeks to understand how perception changes through time, memory, and consciousness. Observation becomes the first layer of every work.

Layers of acrylic, charcoal, graphite, oil sticks, soft pastels, and spray paint are built, removed, and rediscovered through an open process of experimentation. Instead of controlling every outcome, Harsh allows each material to respond to the last, trusting that the painting will gradually reveal its own visual language.
