Growth

Growth has never meant reaching a destination. Every painting teaches me something that cannot be planned in advance. It develops through repetition, observation, and the willingness to trust the process even when the outcome remains uncertain.

When I work with green, I think less about the colour itself and more about the idea of becoming. It reminds me that both paintings and people evolve gradually, shaped by countless small decisions rather than a single defining moment.

Nature

Nature has always been one of my greatest teachers. The way plants grow, rivers change direction, and forests regenerate reminds me that nothing in the natural world remains fixed. Everything exists through cycles of adaptation, balance, and renewal.

Green allows me to bring that understanding into my paintings. Rather than illustrating landscapes, I use the colour to evoke the quiet intelligence of nature, encouraging the viewer to slow down and recognise the subtle rhythms that connect all living things.

Balance

Every colour carries its own energy, and green often becomes the point where stronger colours begin to settle into harmony. It softens intensity without diminishing it, creating space for the composition to breathe while strengthening the relationships between every element.

Whether placed beside red, blue, or yellow, green acts as a bridge rather than a contrast. It reminds me that balance is not created through sameness but through the coexistence of different energies working together.

Renewal

Every completed painting becomes the beginning of another. Finishing one work never feels like an ending but an invitation to continue exploring new ideas, materials, and ways of seeing the world. Growth is continuous, and every painting carries traces of those that came before it.

Green reminds me that my practice is always evolving. It represents renewal, curiosity, and the belief that every new canvas offers another opportunity to learn, transform, and deepen my understanding of both art and myself.

What if every painting is a mirror?

Can uncertainty become a place of discovery?

How many truths can exist at once?

What remains beyond the visible?

Can art become a moment of stillness?
